A Note About the Blog

What is the purpose of the blog of Ecohumanism Research? I ask the question because as the owner of this website, I feel that I have a responsibility to post on a regular basis. This is so that visitors do not get the unfortunate impression that the website is either dormant or that its owner is disengaged. However, I have realized that posting on a regular basis requires time. A considerable amount of time. Who would have thought? Sarcasm aside, as the website operates on a non-profit basis, it is dependent upon the time that its contributors have at their disposal. The point is that I cannot guarantee a regular posting schedule in spite of having been able to consistently post at least once per month throughout much of 2022.

I would like to note that the website’s blog is and shall continue to function as a semi-academic journal, which means that although it will continue to be dedicated to publishing academic or scientific content in a non-technical format, which is akin to science journalism or something that resembles that, it will not necessarily have a posting schedule. Comments and/or questions? Feel free to submit them and I will respond to them as soon as I can. I look forward to hearing about your thoughts whether they relate to the blog or something else that is of your interest in relation to human-environment relationship!

    1. Hi Max,

I am in agreement though one could argue that the ideal would be to have both depending on the context. Nonetheless, for this website, quality will indeed “always trump quantity”.

      Thanks for your message!
